CLINICAL CASE STUDY
based on graphs: Leading Water Circulation (light blue) vs Ambient Temperature (control, red) compared to Thermocuff (green) vs Ambient Temperature (control, red)
The majority of pain and swelling occurs within the synovial joint, the area that encapsulates the bone junctions. A synovial joint is the type of joint found between bones that move against each other, such as the joints of the limbs (e.g. shoulder, hip, elbow, and knee)
The leading water circulation technology does very little to cool the synovial joint. As pictured, it barely outperforms no cooling at all over the course of 3 hours. Thermocuff immediately begins cooling the synovial joint, dropping the temperature by nearly 75% in the first hour alone.
